“ We had an great experience at immigrant food yesterday. The staff was extra friendly, we showed up early to our reservation, and the manager was able to seat us. There was 5 of us, the waiting staff was friendly, explained the menu, and gave suggestions when we asked. The Sangria was great, the food was amazing and the environment was perfect for a midday hang with some friends. Highly recommended. This was actually the first restaurant I came to when I first moved to DC. The quality was great then and it seemed to get even better. Ill be back again! ”
“ The menu was super diverse! They mainly offer sandwiches and salads, along with appetizers. I got the Old Saigon sandwich wfries. The chili mayo was delicious and was nicely paired with a variety of vegetables. Additionally I got samosas 2 for 10 during happy hour. They were served with some of the best tamarind chutney Ive ever had. Although it was a bit pricey, the service, food, and atmosphere are worth it! ”

Food did not disappoint! Will be back. Truly impressive knowing that the food is sourced locally and is diverse! ”

“ Today I visited Immigrant Food for the first time and I was impressed with the incredible flavor of the Cuban sandwhich. The pickeled onions on the perfectly seasoned pork was absolutely delicious. The bread was buttery and flavorful. When I return I will be trying some of the other items for sure. The only downside I would say is that the price is pretty high for the sandwich I got. I paid 17 for the sandwich which came with a small side salad. I dont mind paying more for delicious food but it certainly is not an everyday thing for the wallet. But if you are in the area I highly recommend you try it out. ”

Our server David and the general manager Darius were both so friendly and knowledgeable. We came straight after the White House tour and it was perfect, would highly recommend!
